Perhaps the most iconic Philadelphia dish, the cheesesteak features thinly sliced steak, often with melted cheese (typically Cheez Whiz, provolone, or American cheese), served in a long roll. Pat’s King of Steaks and Geno’s Steaks are famous spots to try this beloved sandwich. I am sure every local has their favorite place but I am pretty sure you can not go wrong where ever you go.

Watching a baseball game in Philadelphia is a quintessential experience for sports enthusiasts and visitors alike. Citizens Bank Park, home to the Philadelphia Phillies, offers an exciting atmosphere and memorable moments for fans of America’s favorite pastime. We just so happen to go on the day you can bring you dogs to the game which made it extra special.

The Family

Exploring Philadelphia with kids offers a delightful mix of fun, education, and adventure. Our kids were younger when we visited but Philly has something for any age.

Sesame Place

Located just outside of Philadelphia, this beloved theme park brings the magic of Sesame Street to life with exciting rides, water attractions, live shows, and meet-and-greets with favorite characters like Elmo, Big Bird, and Cookie Monster. With attractions suitable for children of all ages, Sesame Place promises a day of laughter and joy for the whole family.

Please Touch Museum

Head to the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park for a hands-on learning experience that’s perfect for kids. This interactive museum features engaging exhibits and activities designed to inspire curiosity and creativity in young minds.
