Nestled in the heart of the Piedmont, this region is known for its thriving arts scene, rich tobacco and furniture heritage, and a growing reputation for craft breweries and farm-to-table dining. From lively downtown districts and historic theaters to family-friendly parks and scenic trails, the Triad offers a perfect mix of culture, history, and outdoor fun.

While “our “The Family” has mostly passed through the Triad on road trips, the DINKs have a much deeper bond with the area. My husband grew up here, and with his family still calling the region home, we spend countless weekends exploring its neighborhoods, restaurants, and hidden gems. Each visit gives us new reasons to love the Triad’s welcoming vibe and endless things to do.
